Ich geb’s zu… ich bin immer noch Glühbirnenfan. Ein bisschen wenigstens. Dieses warme, lebendige Licht. Und nicht zu vergessen: Nostalgie!
Und so bin ich auf Livermore in Kalifornien gestoßen,dort brennt eine Glühbirne sage und schreibe bereits 115 Jahre. Sachen gibt’s. Hier ein bisschen Originalton der Homepage:

As years go, the Bulb has had a quiet one this year. There have been the steady flow of visitors, occassional film crews, and reporters. The new display case below, and the constant work of the Firefighters. There was one thing though. A New Bulbcam! A Sony was put up and is now sending out pictures twice as big, sharp, and clear!
Auch sonst ist die Website der Hammer, noch mit echten animierten GIFs :-) … alles im Stil der ersten schicken Homepages aus den 90ern des letzten Jahrhunderts. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert! Sogar mit Übersetzungen in mannigfaltige Sprachen. Also genau das richtige für die friedliche und gemütliche Advents- und Weihnachtszeit.
